About
This blog is an honest attempt to compare and contrast constitutional precepts with today’s governance.
The authors don’t claim to be Constitutional scholars or to know all there is to know about U.S history, but we continue to inform ourselves about both, and through this blog, to share what we learn. We believe that the United States is “the last best hope of mankind” and that the core principles of its founding have yielded the blessings we enjoy today.
We further submit that the founders possessed far greater integrity, far greater intellect, and understood the world more clearly than the individuals in leadership positions today. In short, it is our view that the ideals that underpin the American polity are, if possible, more relevant today than when they were first penned.
