Obama’s Responsibility

Harry Truman is famously known to have had a sign on his desk that said “The buck stops here.”  But that was when, Democrat or Republican, you could count on the president of the United States to be a patriotic American.

Those days are gone.

In response to the savage murder of the United States Ambassador to Libya, the US embassy in Egypt issued the following statement.

The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims – as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others.

U.S. Ambassador to Egypt, Anne Patterson is a career bureaucrat in the Foreign Service, who, frankly, I know nothing about.  However, she should be relieved of her job – immediately.  Either she knowingly issued such a load of politically correct tripe – or she doesn’t manage her people well enough.  So, it’s either willful Obamaism or gross incompetence.  Her boss should demand her resignation.

But don’t expect Mr. Obama to take any such action.  He is inherently sympathetic to Muslim terrorists.  While he undoubtedly doesn’t condone violence, he has made no secret of his distaste for our traditional allies – Israel and Britain – and his admiration for the Muslim Brotherhood.

This attack on sovereign U.S. soil will go unanswered.  And lest there be any doubt, this attack had absolutely nothing to do with a low budget video, watched by no one.  It had everything to do with the anniversary of 9/11.    The video was a pretext used to rile up a bunch of ignorant and angry Muslims.  According to news sources this was a coordinated attack.

It is believed that the attack, which occurred on the 11th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, was a planned ambush carried out by terrorists using a pro-Islam protest as cover.

But even now the narrative is in full swing.  We are told that this was a small group of radicals.  In Secretary of State Clinton’s words,

This question shows how complex the world can be, she said, adding that the attack was orchestrated by a small and savage group, and not the larger people and government of the country that Americans still fight to defend.

Really?  Funny, the pictures don’t look like it was a small group of radicals.  It looks like a mob.  What is clear, however, is that radical members of the Muslim Brotherhood are seeking to gain control over multiple Arab states – including Libya. What is also undeniable is President Obama’s overt support of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Upon taking office, one of the first thing that Egyptian president Mohammed Mursi, a member of this organization, did, was to call for the United States to free the blind Sheik, Omar Abdel-Rahman – the man behind the first World Trade Center bombing in 1993.  Of course we should continue to funnel billions of dollars of military aid to the Muslim Brotherhood-run Egypt.  What could go wrong?

Consider presidential confidante and former Green Czar – Van Jones – who signed a document blaming the United States for the atrocity on 9/11.  He is an admitted communist who has expressed his support for the so-called “peace flotilla.”  Calling him a dupe is probably inaccurate – he knows what his objectives are.

Consider what Egyptian Ambassador Anne Patterson had to say prior to the Egyptian presidential election,

Patterson assured that the US would collaborate with the next Egyptian president even if he was an Islamist. She added that the United States respects Egyptians’ choice and described the presidential polls as a historic opportunity for all Egyptians.



Given Obama’s record, maybe that should read “especially if he was an Islamist.”

Consider Clinton confidante Huma Abedin.  Despite establishment RINO and Democrat protestations to the contrary, Michelle Bachman is right on the money with her concerns over Ms. Abedin.  She has close ties with this guy:

Sheikh Qaradawi is a promoter of jihadist terror. His fatwas endorse terrorist attacks against American personnel in Iraq as well as suicide bombing — by both men and women — against Israel. He is a leading supporter of Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestinian branch. He also runs an umbrella organization called the Union for Good (sometimes referred to as the “Union of Good”), which is formally designated a terrorist organization under American law.  – Huma Abedin’s Muslim Brotherhood Ties.

To the chance Leftist that wanders by this site and makes it this far in the article and see’s the citation to National Review, try Wikipedia.  Here are some quotes from this man that the left loves to hold up as a great intellectual intermediary between “radical” Islam and the west.

Funny how he sings a different tune when he’s not speaking English. These are the kind of people that Obama has chosen to surround himself with.

No, President Obama does not condone the violent slaughter of Americans.  But he does have sympathy for the perpetrators.  And that is inexcusable.  His boss (the American people) should demand his resignation.  In Clint Eastwood’s words, “it’s time to let him go.”
