Pat Caddell: Media Have Become An “Enemy Of The American People” | RealClearPolitics

"We've had nine days of lies over what happened because they can't dare say it's a terrorist attack, and the press won't push this," said Caddell. "Yesterday there was not a single piece in The New York Times over the question of Libya. Twenty American embassies, yesterday, are under attack. None of that is on the national news. Advocacy Journalism – Replaces The Code of Ethics of the Society of Professional Journalists

Both are anti-democratic and based on the assumption that the electorate is too dumb to know what is best for it without expert guidance.

The Campaign So Far – The Tale of the Tapes

A video floats around on You Tube for a few weeks. It’s suddenly “discovered” and it is used as a pretext for righteous indignation that leads to demonstrations and riots. The Muslim reaction to the Mohammed video? No, the press reaction to Romney’s “47%” video.
