In 1955 President Dwight D. Eisenhower authorized the Code of Conduct for all the United States Armed Services.\u00c2\u00a0 It is the ethical guide for how members of the military are to behave should they become prisoners of war or be in danger of capture.<\/p>\n
It provides a solemn reminder of what is at stake and the depth of commitment made by those in the military.<\/p>\n
